Thor Source V2 adds four meticulously sampled raw oscillator settings from the original Moog Source, new combinator patches, new backdrops and more. This awesome refill provides awesome thick and full synthesizer patches in the style of Moog's Source.
When Thor first saw the light of day (in the release of Reason 4) Soundcells couldn't resist testing it's strengths by comparing it to a well known classic from Moog: the Source. Thor's modular design gave them the chance to rebuild the Source's details with great accuracy. Then they copied their favourite Moog Source patches with great ease into Thor and after this they managed to take those sounds numerous steps further.
The results are a sound that is amazingly close to the Source's character. In this refill's documentary folder you'll find proof of this. Thor makes the Source polyphonic and velocity sensitive as well. By now you'll understand that this refill goes way beyond only emulating the past. Thor Source offers you deep and fat basses, retro and nu style leads, wonderfull keyboard sounds, mouth watering pads, analog drums and more.
Additions in Version 2:
'Thor Source V2' adds meticulously sampled Moog Source waves and two new ones. Besides this, there are 22 new combinator patches based on these additions, a few new rex loops, some minor tweaks and new backdrops.

Time to celebrate... Especially for Trance and Techno heads!

With great pride we announce the release of ReQuencer V2. Since this update will be blowing away completely its predecessor, V1 simply gets replaced. All original patches have been updated but still sound the same, so nothing got lost. We added tons of new things: 200 extra combinators, 150 new Thor patches and a lot more!

Reason 4 and up

ReQuencer V2 has warmly embraced the coming of Thor and the RPG-8 module. Thanks to Thor's sonic capabilities ReQuencer has become more than only a great sequencing tool: ReQuencer V2 is a wonderful resource for crisp, warm, agressesive, deep and fat analogish patches. We embedded a small extra refill into RQV2 carrying lots of emulation patches inspired by Moog's legendary synthesizer the Source. We even programmed the wellknown and characterfull tuning instabilities but everything can be easily corrected tuning wise if you like a more straight, modern sound.

* Almost 350 combinators containing great sounds, tons of RPG-8 settings and 1500+ transposable, tweakable Matrix phrases.
* Almost 350 modules patches have been optimized for easy changing while keeping the desired phrases. Just open up a combinator and browse conveniently to different patches for Thor, Subtractor and Malström!
* All phrases are copyright free for rightfull owners of ReQuencer V2.

* As an extra bonus you'll get a tr808 and tr909 sample set included in ReQuencer.
* As an extra extra bonus you'll get lots of "Classic Analog" patches inspired by the Source by Moog.
* Most patches are cpu friendly. Some are not though.
* Every matrix combinator carries a transpose and change pattern knob.
* ReQuencer is an excellent refill to use for live gigs! Great for Trance and Techno, but also a nice resource for ambient and other electronic styles.

How to use ReQuencer V2:

* Preferably 3 times a day after a good meal.
* Don't forget to push the "run pattern devices" button on the Matrix combinators, otherwise nothing will happen when Reason is not running.
* It's nice to copy the matrix ReQuences into your sequencer window for further tweaking.
* Pitch Wheels of the combinators are always plus and minus 12 half tones.
* Never forget to try out your modulation wheel to see what might be hidden there.
* The folder names only indicate a certain style or atmosphere, however all ReQuencer patches will sound and feel completely different when used at different BPM rates and/or keys. Ambient artists, hard trance producers, symphonic rock musicians, synthpop wizards and everyone else: ReQuencer will most definitely expand your creative possibilities and will inspire you towards new musical directions!

A LEGEND ON ITS OWN

The coming of Thor has been an enormous breakthrough for Reason's sonic capabilities. It has been a great challenge for us at Sonic Flavours to come with this refill so shortly after Reason 4 had been released. Thor is practically capable of doing everything and even much more. It's possible to emulate vintage keyboards (clavinets, organs etc.) at an extreme high level of realism. Besides this Thor can also sound as big and beautiful as its legendary predecessors do coming from brands like Moog, Oberheim, ARP, Yamaha, Roland, Nord Lead, Virus, PPG etc. Thor is already a legend on its own and we captured these legendary qualities into this refill.

THOR AND THE RED MOUSE

The Red Mouse explores worlds that have never been conquered before in Reason. Character, Atmosphere and Surprise are its main keywords. This refill is an add-on for our Red Mouse Workstation which means that this completes the Red Mouse palet making use of Thor and the RPG-8.

The Thor Polysonic Synthesizer is not only an incredible tool for new and inventive sound design but also remains faithful to classic synths with its ability to accurately emulate vintage equipment of the past. In this particular refill we take focus of Thor's ability to create authentic Casio CZ patches through its phase distortion ocillator. The refill contains 96 patches in Thor and Combinator instruments, 4 tutorial/template files and a document discussing the CZ architecture and approach to emulation within Thor. For those who have owned one of the CZ-101/1000 synthesizers will appreciate the first 16 patches of this refill which are almost identical to the factory presets that shipped with the original units.
